Dr. Harry Sukumaran, M.D. is a pain management specialist Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology at Michigan State University and his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Anesthesiology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. He then continued his specialty training in Pain Medicine in a multidisciplinary interventional fellowship at the University of Michigan. Active in professional organizations, Dr. Sukumaran is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, North American Neuromodulation Society, as well as the Association Council for Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Sukumaran is passionate about improving patient wellness, quality of life, and function.
